1st Annual General Meeting

1st Annual General Meeting  - St. Peter's College , Colombo 04 , Old Boys' Union - Batch Group of Gampaha

2nd December 2012  St. Peter's College , Colombo 04 , Old Boys' Union - Batch Group of Gampaha had their 1st Annual General Meeting to elect new office bearers for the year 2012/13 & 2013/14 . The AGM was held at college main hall with the presence of Rev. Fr. Chaminda & Mr. Suranga Senevirathne and the members of the Tutorial staff.

First we had the Holy Mass in College chapel then breakfast was served. Then the meeting . It was a fitting finale for the past office bearers with the regime of Linusha Perera delivering the speech took his time to appreciate the work done by the members of his committee. Taking this opp. to thank him for the wonderful work he has done towards the college fraternity and the hard work put on for Batch Group to make it a success with the limited no. of resources we had. As a token of appreciation President handed over  beautiful Souvenirs to the committee. Finally thanked everyone who supported them in many ways when they governing the Batch Group. 

Then it was time to read the Minutes of the Inaugural General Meeting Hony. Secretary Mr. Gayan Perera read the Minutes. which was proposed and seconded by the House. Next Mr. Suranga Senevirathne took his time to explain the Constitution of the Batch Group while highlighting important parts of it while  Rev. Fr. Chaminda Wanigasena addressed the house mentioning the importance of the OBU to the College.

Next in Agenda was to elect New Committee for year 2012/13 & 2013/14 and handing over the proceedings to the new committee. After electing new Office Bearers , New President Mr. Kerwin Jason Lewis thanked everyone for electing a new committee and pledged to do their best for the Batch Group during their Tenure. After his speech Rev. Fr. Chaminda concluded the proceedings with a Small Prayer.
